John Ward lives on the west coast of Wales where he makes his
pure handbuilt pot and bowl forms.
Ward is generally regarded as the natural successor to the late
Hans Coper and Lucie Rie and his work is always in demand. He
has exhibited in many parts of the world and his stoneware pieces
are particularly well-known to American collectors.
Courcoux & Courcoux is especially fortunate to have had a long-term
relationship with John Ward and we have a one-man exhibition of
his work in April 2001 -- a rare event which has been agreed since
1987. In the meantime Courcoux & Courcoux always has a number
of Ward pots in stock.
