This is to do with testing the reality of faith. The journey, as mapped out, is long and arduous, courage might fail. There is a great deal of inertia resisting progress. The whole picture could come apart. My mind could come apart. It needs the golden light of faith to make it cohesive. This is not the end of the journey, it's a tough point in it, but faith will triumph. The swallow is holy, the rabbit is stolid and passive, the train strains, inane. |
