A long time ago on the old pitch and putt in St. Annes, my twin brother, Pete, hit a mighty drive which carried the green and clanged against the engine of the miniature train that hauled holidaymakers around the perimeter of the course. I've told this story so many times I no longer know if it's true or a boyhood exaggeration of a shot he undoubtedly aimed at the train and that just went close. |
