When the elephant deity Ganesh entered the UK at Bridport in 1996 he was promptly arrested and imprisoned as an illegal immigrant. Escaping from gaol with the help of an artist simply known as Johnny, he took up a nomadic life with his close friend Mouse, changing size, shape and colour according to the natural law. Eventually he took up poetry, specifically nocturnal poetry, and in this piece we see pictorially displayed some of the elements of which his emerging muse was composed. |
