See the yellow ochre winged critter? See the lady in the shower? Well, it isn't what you may think - they're husband and wife. Yes! And this is what can become of married men, they grow strange and fabulous. And yet they're monsters. Rather wistful monsters, it must be said. Some married couples grow together and become indistinguishable, but this is what can happen to others. The pillock approaching on the elephant is a marriage guidance counsellor, some kind of misguided crackpot. His mission is to rescue the marriage. What he doesn't realise is that it doesn't need rescuing, it's constitutionally incapable of being rescued, in fact. It's just life in one of its many unaccountable manifestations and you may as well piss up the wall. |
