Through all the years that his contemporaries were getting married, raising families and staking out careers, Cedric Pye was kept in a psychiatric institution. A short time after his eventual release into the community, his C.P.N. obtained for him from an animal sanctuary a yellow, half-grown male kitten. As long as there was a packet of Bentinck's Golden Sausages and a fresh cod's head in the 'fridge, life was pretty much OK for these two friends. |
