Have you ever got yourself into a giddy pickle, as it were? Well, after a long, hellish summer when his poor head puffed up with paranoia, delusions and, finally, sheer terror, one dreadful night a chasm opened up underneath this fellow's lonely bed and he all but fell into it. In fact to him it seemed as though he had indeed fallen into it and was standing alone in a grey, desolate place of infinite sadness. But a good angel came to his bodily rescue and God, in the raw state he can assume in dire emergencies, saved his mind and spirit, you'll be glad to hear. |
