You know how ants are remote-controlled but beetles aren't, well, trains are mostly like ants, they run where they're programmed. Occasionally, though, just occasionally, you would get a rogue train, one that took its fate in its own hands, an autonomous train. Here the train in question is a L.M.S. tank engine that has strayed from its own region and finds itself now just west of Golden Cap and steaming hard. The extraordinary thing, though, is that here the future is unfolding in just the same way as it might be at St. Bee's Head, for instance. And do you know why? Huh!??!? Because you're in a painting and I'm the boss! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! (Insane laughter echoes around the cavernous, hangar-like interior of Ward 6, dear old Ward 6 .......) |
