I had intended to call this "Animal Libation Front" but when it was completed I saw that the animals at the bar somehow didn't really form a front, so reluctantly I jettisoned the title.
The bar is loosely modelled on a pleasantly grotty one in Dorchester and when in that town I always contrive to end up in its vicinity. On my first visit it wasn't until my 12th pint that I realised that all the people in the room were animals, so normal did everything seem.
