Do you remember when we were kids how we used to spend a day trainspotting in the Irish Sea in stormy weather? Catching a passing furniture shark and really getting stuck in for the duration?
This painting was going nowhere - my wife thinks it never did, bless her mohair trousers - when I bought a double c.d. collection of The Very Best of Jackson Browne. The second disc of the two really got me motoring. Do you know "Sky Blue and Black" or "The Barricades of Heaven"? Absolutely top. Old Jackson transformed this piece from old hat to new hat. Or maybe new old hat. Whatever, Jackson done it.
