Sadly we have to inform our clients that Fred Yates died suddenly on Monday 7th July. Fred was a great friend to the gallery and we were very fond of a great character who would have shortly celebrated his 86th birthday. Fred was moving back from France to Somerset where he was in the process of buying a lovely little house in Frome. It is a great pity that he never had the opportunity to enjoy it. He will be greatly missed by us and all his friends. We shall not be selling Fred's paintings until further notice.
